PROPHORCE AC 101® is an acidifier product and acts as a direct anti-microbial and gut flora regulator. It is a mix of formic acid's salt with pure organic acids (citric acid, formic acid, fumaric acid, lactic acid) that help to reduce pH and stimulate enzyme activity.
 
Formic acid and lactic acid are considered to have the best anti-microbial activity. Fumaric acid helps to reduce pH along the digestive tract thanks to its specific chemical structure. Citric acid contributes to the palatability, which helps to maintain the feed intake despite the high concentration of organic acids.
